Just saw a internet-vid on TV with a similar situation.  Dad was teaching his daughters, ages 8 and 10, to do "trust exercises", and front daughter fell forward, too!

 

That caterpillar has interesting "protective camoflauge".  Predators don't like to attack prey who seem to be looking right at them.  Also, an example of "eyes on the back of its head"!
