destruction of items

Hello all,

Something I noticed and thought odd...

Since the new map rotation, it seems like you can not destroy (or move) any of the background pieces of the map. This is most obvious on the "Broadcast" map... it was a hobby of mine to destroy as many TV screens as I could (something about them exploding gives me satisfaction).

On the new maps, the TV's can not be destroyed, nor any of the computer monitors can be moved.

Just curious if this is a glitch of some kind, or if this was an option that has been changed.

I have noticed and also you can't shoot the melons on Crossfire makes me very sad

Did you change your config at all? Mine i dumbed down and so it has never worked since I changed it.

Yes and you cannot knife the melons either. The photo frames & clocks cannot be shot down or knife either. <- This was my satisfaction. Helped improve hip accuracy IMO.

I dumbed mine down years ago to improve my frame rates and refresh rates. I wasn't aware of the ability to change it on the server level though

Even on lowest graphics I've been able to do all that, so it must be something up with the server, maybe it was on purpose?

I too noticed last night that of the three mounted guns in Chinatown, the one in the building on the first floor was no longer there.

Yeah, noticed the other day that the melons on crossfire were unable to explode, which sucks because that's always my goal on that map, blow up all the melons.

Not only have a noticed it on this server, but certain other's too. Some servers you can shoot melons, some you can't.

Its the server setting. Love shooting this teles on broadcast.
