Recently, Blizzard has added clan support as one of the features in Starcraft, basically it's sort of a private (or public) chat channel where you can publish news, invite members and so. Being in clan adds a prefix to your name. Also, since Blizzard recently added global play, meaning that you don't need to have separate accounts to play on other servers, just one is enough, I thought of organizing our group/clan on Starcraft 2. I'd make it on US server, since from what I've seen most members play in there, but might as well make an Euro one. I was wondering how many people still play or would join. I don't know what are Blizzard's future plans when it comes to groups/clans, will they add more features or functions or not but I guess this is a decent start.

Also, since tags can't have anything but alphanumeric characters (meaning =F|A= is no go) I wanted to ask founders what tag should be used. Clan group would be called Fearless Assassins.

FA seems to be already in use as a tag on both US and EU servers. I guess you'll have to think of a new one. It can be between 2 and 6 characters long. FEAR is also in use from what I've seen.
