rolf Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/comfort-curve-keyboard-3000 Requirements in order of importance. - Horizontal enter, rather than vertical as common in the Netherlands which is retarded - Easy touch - Cheap (I replace keyboards fast) - Light curve (I have 2 other keyboards without it, and many before, this is truly better) - No useless buttons. Volume up/down/play and numpad is sufficient additional stuff. Disadvantages: - There is no pop-up-menu on the right side, only by FN in combination with the right shift - Contains way too much text. - Color of the leds is green, I'd prefer white or blue. - Makes a bit more sound than I'd like it to be. So I have two, one at home and one at the office. Best keyboard I've ever had. Quote
Jefke Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 (edited) My keyboards: - Corsair k60 (all purpose keyboard and gaming) (Cherry red: great for gaming, daily use) , don't use the wrist support or the silly red keys (cherry brown: used for when I'm typing papers/documentation/... => reds are a pain in the ass to type long text with ^^) Stuff I need on my keyboard: - mechanical keys (I will never go back to cheap rubber domes ) - No backlight (or one I can disable complete): it annoys me like hell - QWERTY: this seems obvious, but it isn't in Belgium where azerty is the norm => these keyboars are a bit more expensive on purchase but last longer then rubber dome ones (I shredded through 3-4 keyboards a years also costing me about 100 euro/year), these were 80 euro and 135 euro , so in 2 years I earned it back ^^ Next keyboards (in about 5-10 years ) will be without numpad, finally decided it's useless (on qwerty that is, on azerty it remains kind of useful) Edited March 1, 2013 by DrJoske 1 Quote
