There are only a few ways to verify who is who on Minecraft, one being the IP address, and another being their Account name, I was wondering if it would be possible to add the option to add your Minecraft account name to your profile?

Sure we could do that... We already have one Alias in profiles.

 

I could add one called "Minecraft Alias" .. do u want me to make it to show to only user himself and moderators or to all ?

well, the server is set to online/official so no one with a cracked version of the game can join (they can set any name they want when they log in) so I don't think it's necessary to hide it, but it would be fine if only the user himself and moderators could see it since I think there are hacks out there that allow you to set a unique name whenever you want.

Sometimes I am on Minecraft server and people talk to me and I have no idea who that person is. For example there is a guy called Sugarfinger, he keeps talking to me and I have no idea who he could be.

 

So I think if it's save, then it would be helpful if everyone can see the alias.
