m_filter "0"

m_pitch "-0.016"

m_yaw "0.022"

cl_mouseAccel "0"

sensitivity "2.7"

-800 dpi

-Windows slider @ 6

-USB polling rate @ 500hz

-RInput 1.31

20 cm (~7.8 inches) for 360° <-when comparing mouse settings of different systems this is the only reliable value!

I usually set up sensitivity that I do easy 180° turns to left and right without resetting the mouse on the pad with a little room left afterwards without breaking my wrists. That covers the 360° range and more is not really needed imho.

In the end it depends on personal preference and playing style.

Find something that works for you (sensitivity that you don't feel is too fast, or too slow)

Once you find that sensitivity, stick with it;

constantly changing sensitivity is a handicap in that you're always trying to get used

to the feel of your game.

For people wondering why their hits aren't 'registering',

or their targets are 'unhittable', try turning on crosshair pulse and getting

used to controlling your weapon recoil.

Instead of a pulsing crosshair you can simply set "cg_drawSpreadScale 2".

That will show how a green to red bar on the left side representing your spread ;)

Unluckily, there is no way to record your own game and see what you saw *exactly*, since in demos you see yourself aiming in the past.

But, everytime I watched a demo of mine with de-lag (using image-et, or my own demo viewer) I see that when I miss I am mostly off target.

I say this, because some people many times think they are always aiming well and not hitting, while in reality they aren't aiming well, if they could only see it again...

I knew that, but it disappears when you shoot, as far as I remember...
