Flible Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Nameless sauce originating from a Surinam family that they describe as a "secret weapon". Kept in a very thick jar to prevent the spices from tearing up people's eyes and mouth as they walk nearby. They literally had a paper taped to the glass that said "X" It was OK. I've had spicier things. With better taste, too. Quote

Thule Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I guess it depends on what you consider "weird". I've had Chapulines (it is a Mexican dish of grasshoppers), which I guess is odd. Sometimes I make Pulpos con Patatas, which is a Catalan stew of octopus and potatoes. Beyond that Steak Tartare (raw beef and egg), Sushi (raw fish), and lots and lots of Calamari (squid). Other than that, I keep it pretty normal (beef, chicken, fish, fruits, veggies, rice, beans, etc.). Bon Appétit. Quote
