I'm a die hard fan of Star trek the original series, and I'm kinda scared that they'll mess with a classic. But hey, they did a fine job with the first one, hopefully they can do it twice.

Fan sites speculate that the villain is Gary Mitchell, not Khan. Gary Mitchell was a friend of Kirk's in The Original Series. They were classmates at the Academy and served on the Enterprise together.
