WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Hello

I tried to include as much detail as possible

Temperature of processors 31,34,34,37

Details of the connection are below

Details of the computer over the connection

As you can see there is another player in Japan

with 200 ping as I also used to have

Tried rate 45000

less fps

maxpackets

unplugged the router

I used programs like advanced system care

updated graphic driver

windows 7 updated

I'm sure the problem is on my side

just do not know what can be

is not just the issue of high ping but also for being very unstable

I disabled the firewall, antivirus

left in the list of exceptions

lagometer it seems to be ok

any help will be very welcome

thanks for this part of the forum

Are you sure the problem is on your side?

I think you should run mtr a bit longer (23 packets is a bit too few to judge), but I don't see much lag in the first hop. Maybe the other japanese player you noticed has a different routing, so he doesn't lag because his packets pass from different nodes than yours?

must be on my side.any other player from Japan = 200 stable ping.

i was trying another tester and the result was very diferent.Ping tester web version 9.10

loss rate is around 50 %

sent 188

received 95

lost 93

avr time 203

it should be 200 +/-

but when i join the server...250 :/

packetdup could help but doesnt work.any idea why?

trying to set 3 but it doesnt change.still 1 (default)

thx for your attention and time.

packetdup could help if you lose packets on your way to the server (client->server). But you don't seem to have any packet loss from mtr.

Packets sent from the server to you (server->client) are not affected by packetdup anyway. Do you see vertical red bars in your lagometer maybe?

Remember that in order to have ping X to the server, your real ping should be

Host Loss% Snt Last Avg Best Wrst StDev
216.155.146.19.choopa.net 0.0% 97 168.6 169.9 167.6 183.4 2.3

(MTR from windows doesn't show the standard deviation, that is from Linux)

I think you get slowed down somewhere on your way to the server, but I could be wrong. If it was your pc you would see lag on the 1st nodes too.

edit:

as you can see (but it was clear from the stdev value) my ping is high but steady (I take advantage of this ping log to send a big fu to all the ones who say that I lag :P):

try to ping hardcore server ip, and see how much difference you have between one ping and another. I am sure the other player you mention makes a different route to the server.

Your ping goes up in this node:

210.142.161.94

you go from 136 to 196, maybe they have some problem and it will solve itself with time, I don't know what I would do if I was in your situation

I would suggest to contact your ISP since that hop comes under your ISP. Ping increase of 60 within your ISP is not good thing.

and what's your (real, i.e. outside ET) ping to hardcore now? I'm happy it's fixed, hopefully it's not just a coincidence :P
