Aniky Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) The Season 2 World Championship was held in early October of 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Twelve qualifying teams from around the world participated in the championship, which boasted the largest prize pool in the history of e-sports tournaments at 2 million USD. The grand finals took place on October 13th, while all other matches took place the week before, between October 4th and 6th. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdr6jAPkf04&feature=player_embedded Yesterday on October 13, 2012 everyone could witness the League of Legends season two finals being played at Los Angeles between Taipei Assasins (Taiwan) and Azubu Frost (South Korea). Both of the teams had to pass over some strong opponents, some of them standing as top teams on the world, but lets have a look at brackets to see just who they had to pass if they wanted to see the finals of this tournament. Group stage Note: Of the five first place teams (Team SoloMid, Moscow Five, Team World Elite, Taipei Assassins, and Azubu Frost) a random drawing was done to determine which four teams skip the group stage. vke Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Game 4 was a total stomp for TPA. IMO picking Lux vs Orianna was pretty dumb, they should have gone with Morgana or Ahri instead. GG WP TPA Quote
MagOo Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 What a surprise , 2 asian team going face to face in the finals /sarcasm There should be a good Na'Vi team in LoL (theres one but they are sh*tty) so at least they could try to change the meta like in DOTA2 Quote
