guid issue on F|A RECRUITING XP SAVE only

I'm starting to like silent recruiting (silent1.clan-fa.com:27960), it slowed down so I ventured to recruiting xp save ( jay2.clan-fa.com:27960 )and it told me that my guid was invalid a temporary issue and to try again but that didn't work. So I went back to silent, signed on like normal no issues. Went to all F/A servers signed on no issues, except for recruiting xp save ( jay2.clan-fa.com:27960 ).

 

Just never ran into an issue like this before on any server, kinda caught me off guard. Haven't been back to Jay2 for awhile and maybe thought that was the problem. Anyways !help lol

Nope didn't work, did last night, sorry I didn't mention that. I was in a Administrative role for ET before I came to F/A servers.

 

pb was already enabled too, I scrolled up to see what else was happening and the PB server verified my quid, don't understand the command why you would enable something that already was????

 

Shouldn't be on my end anyways considering I can sign onto other F/A servers???

 

It would be the server I'm signing onto that has the issue wouldn't?

 

I'm sure we can fix this, no hurry.

Silent mod (Silent Guid) stores a different guid than the guid on Jay2 (PB guid) I believe

 

Check your etmain folder to see if you have a Etkey or type in /Cl_guid or you can also have someone on Jay 2 check to see if your guid is showing

 

use this commands to enable it /pb_cl_enable; pb_system 1; pb_writecfg; reconnect;

 

I think your problem might be a folder issue

Some people may not realize that, in Windows OS, they can copy that line (with right-click, highlight, click copy), start ET, open console and hold ctrl-V to paste the line in exactly as posted, without risking any spelling or syntax errors.

I am not much master of these things.. but I told couple of players to just download etkey and put in etmain folder and do /pb_cl_enable 1 and it worked totally fine.

I've got any etkey in my etmain folder. /cl_guid says noguid unknown. None of the commands above work. The silent mods are fine, but jaymod is a nogo. Would this also be why I can't do pb commands (plist and the like?)

you dont have a Etkey ? if you dont download it from here http://etkey.org/

 

Those commands should work fine and should be typed separately

I do have an etkey, but it's saying I have no guid, its like it's not reading the etkey. The commands all say they do stuff, such as enable switched from 0 to 1. pb config wrote to blahblah, but I still can't connect.

Nope. Ubuntu. Would it be a permissions error?

For vista users , you need to put etkey in another folder so maybe it is the same for ubuntu.
