Blade Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 (edited) A mouse that is comfortable in your hand is the best mouse that you can get. Investing in a good "gaming" mouse with a good sensor helps a little, but comfort is your best friend when it comes to FPS'. One thing I would say is not to buy into all the hype of DPI because you don't really need a mouse that has 5600. The usual range for players is from 400-2000, but I'm sure there are some who do fine higher dpi to be better. Hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to message me. P.S. WEASEL Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I use a generic microsoft mouse. I used to play with a mx518 (the best gaming mouse ever conceived) until it brokes . I recommend using a mouse that you feel comfortable with no matter if it is gaming or a non gaming one. If you are looking to buy a new mouse, I recommend buying the G400, the mx518's successor. Clan Friend SunLight Posted June 23, 2012 Clan Friend Posted June 23, 2012 your aim depends mostly on your brain/reaction times/coordination, but if your mouse has noticeable problems (skipping at high speeds, positive / negative accelerations, uncomfortable to hold, or poor mouse feet with uneven friction) then you could improve a bit (only a bit, don't expect miracles) with a new one.
