Corey Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Activision on Tuesday announced the next entry in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, a sequel to one of the most successful games of all time. Treyarch, the studio behind the original Black Ops title, is developing the sequel. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a 21st Century Cold War, where technology has created a new generation of warfare. Deathshead Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I'm gonna try it but i don't think it's going to be such a good game. The last 3 games of the francise were made basically for the multiplayer. The campaign was too short and the story wasnt as good as i expected. The FPS that i'm waiting to see this year is MOH WarFigher. I agree 100%. I think Activision needs to rethink the COD series altogether. This looks ridiculous as a story and to be honest the series has shown some serious fatigue. I have had more fun with COD 4 and BF3 as of late and like Death really looking forward to MOH Warfighter. Quote
MoAZeR Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 yea i will buy MOH this is just an other cod with new maps and weapons Quote
beedub Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 One more "agree" here. I could not believe how fast I was done with the COD games starting at about COD4. I never was into multiplayer until recently, so it was really a bummer to see these get so short. Quote
BurstAero Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 My opinion on the CoD series beginning with COD4 CoD4 = Amazing Call of Duty: WaW = Also amazing Modern Warfare 2 = A joke Call of Duty: Black Ops = Mediocre in thought process, but still retains some replay value Modern Warfare 3 = A mockery of the entire series Black Ops 2 = Who knows, my guess is that it'll probably be just like the others. Ferretpaint Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Well i didnt see enough gameplay to really judge but two things... 1) i dont see how we would be able to afford all that fancy magic by 2025. 2) (watches all the cool technology) yes! Horses! They better have horses in multiplayer and let us trample people. Quote
Maximo Decimo Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Just wait a couple of month, Activision are going to talk about they are working in a "new" COD game, once BO 2 is release Quote
