Krayzie
After you record you go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty 4\main\demos and your demos should be there... If that's what you where asking.
docwarren
What OS system you using? Was your CoD from STEAM download or from a disk? I have found that not everyone's CoD are the same depending on these 2 things.
Ken
i am having trouble with finding the file after i recorded it ,,, !help Hey mate I have same problem, I can record demo and it does all the regular stuff, but it doesn't save file. I have been looking for a way to fix this. Durring in game does it record? In bottom corner? Hopefully if we have similar problems so that this can be fixed To ensure I am doing it write here's my step, I am on a MAC (incase thats a problem) While playing COD4 ~ (type) /record ken1 (name demo) record a bit /stoprecord (the demo stop playing in bottom left corner) /demo demoken1 (nothing) /demo ken1 (nothing) Spotlight search "ken1" (nothing) Spotlight search "demos/(name_here).dm_1" (Nothing), aside from COD router folder, demo hidden in some folder Spotlight search ".dm_1" (nothing) Spotlight search "dm_1" (nothing) Whats wrong here? I have watched guides and read about it so, something up, And to top it all off http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tsgmIEzTsk&feature=youtu.be While watching notice that it says its recording
Gubbi
When you record a demo, it should be saved in: /Applications/Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty 4 Data/main/ To watch it, copy the demo into /Applications/Call of Duty 4/Call of Duty 4 Data/Mods/ModWarfare/demos/ I had to make a folder "demos" in the ModWarfare folder first though Then, when you are in the main menu of CoD press Mods and choose ModWarfare. The screen should change to somewhat blueish and then /demo demo_name should work. I am using Lion and it works fine for me.
