Hardcore Maps

Hey watsup guys, I am a regular on your hardcore server and play sometimes on your silent server. I was looking to see if you can do anything about the maps on the hardcore server... I noticed there are new levels like fata and tankbuster and I thank you for adding new maps... keep it up. I am just writing this thread because the same maps get played over and over again through the voting process. I find it so annoying that we constantly play special delivery, supply depot and a couple other levels. Is there away you can delay those levels being shown in the voting process after we play the regular levels? I believe once supply is played it doesnt show up after 4-6 maps are played... is there a way you can delay it longer so newer maps can get played?

You think about for ex.: Supply or dellivery is played then after 6 maps agin and agin.... You think we should change time betwen map is played from 6maps to 10maps for ex.

yes exactly, instead of a map delay of six... change it to 10-12

Voting is open to all. If everyone really liked other maps then they would vote for it.

 

Either people are not voting or they like supply more over other maps. So people are just waiting to play that map again

I gotta admit that I love the way it already is. I hate to play the same map twice but I do appreciate playing supply or special regulary. These maps are almost the only map where I see almost everyone play as a team and care about obj .

The thing is, with the hardcore server there are good players on that server. The maps that get played over and over again are the maps that are (in my opinion) good frag maps for the server settings. Gives a chance for good 1 on 1 duels and not spending most of your time having to hunt players down.

 

I do agree that the maps get played over and over too many times, but that's when I can always change the server to get a new map rotation.

Thats true and i totaly agree about that, but what i was talking about is that cuz of playing same maps over and over agin, new maps are almost no played and many players might like new maps, but they never actualy saw how it looks...

IMO, the reason those maps are played over and over again is because they're good. They're good maps that people like to play and have fun in rather than any other maps. Any other maps that aren't played very often are only because people don't like them, such as password or tankbuster(but that's only been added for a a week or two).

 

I think the system is fine the way it is.

I agree, at times it can get repetitive, but come on, we got a bunch of servers. Take a break, hit jay2 or 4 and just enjoy having a positive k/d ratio (i do).

Same problems have been occuring with the competitive scene for years now. Supply and goldrush have been staple maps in the rotations for leagues and cups. The community just doesn't like playing new maps. And I can't say im for playing new maps either, since the main reason I play on hardcore is to get away from the "fun" maps of the jaymod servers.
