Shrimps in the deep obviously haven't evolved to look at tasty at the pink, soft, juicy variety.

 

Had I seen this on my plate, I woulda grabbed my flamethrower or called an airstrike on it.

If you boil it I bet it would be nice and pink and juicy. Dip it in some butter.......!

 

JK -- this was not harvested for food. Several of them got caught in some deep water traps. I have no desire to eat this. Yuck!

Looks like an overgrown cockroach, or a woodlouse.

Can't believe these things are related to lobsters.

 

I'd have lobster over that... thing!... any day lol

 

What does it taste like btw?

Shrimp, craps, lobsters etc.........all of them are sea roaches. They just happen to be tasty so we overlook the underlying nastiness of it all.
