Chuckun Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 GUIDs are generated from an algorithm acting upon the contents of the etkey file. So yes, a GUID will always be generated as long as there's an original etkey from PB, or an etkey produced by my etkey generator (providing you have PB enabled -> /pb_cl_enable). However, if any servers are still running PB, you most likely wont be able to connect to them with a non-genuine etkey (ie - produced by the etkey generator), because PB knows it never issued that etkey so it assumes you're doing something wrong. You can also join without one, but won't have any xpsaved. Quote
