Nice rig. That CM 212+ is a pretty sweet cooler for it's price point. I just put it on a Q9770 a buddy of mine gave me and it worked much better than I was expecting.

The side window on that case looks nice. Clean view of the internals. I'm not a huge fan of that case though. For the money there are many out there that I would rate better. Still it does look pretty good though.

How bright are those LEDs?

Theyre a little bright but not too bad. the hyper212+ Isnt installed yet :P it was but that was when the computer was being wacky, and people had known issues of using this mobo with this fan so we took it out but I believe the PC was acting weird from RAm in slots 1+3. Might reinstall it on my own or wait for my Dad to come home early one night.

Nice rig gen. Now give it to me..Gen really dude give it to me...bah. Yoda was wrong jedi mind trix suck

BTW man, if your wondering about application of thermal paste at all, this review of different techniques is pretty nicely done. http://benchmarkrevi...=1&limitstart=0

I read a few reviews not long ago to see if much had changed in ideas of how TIM is applied..and I was surprised at the amount of bad recommendations I found. The link I posted is pretty decent in explaining alot of the theory and testing a few different methods, espeically those dealing with heat pipes like on the 212+.

Well, my Dad doesnt want to try it on again until he gets a message back from ASRock saying its OK.

Hopefully they answer him quickly. It's a shame to have such a nice cooler sitting around collecting dust. Show some more pics once you get it installed. :yahoo
