speedfact Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 servers are full if you get on at right times. our hardcore servers averages between 15-20 during the day. Killbox is a little slower but is picking up, sometimes theres just 6 guys on other times there are around 25 guys. Just all depends on time but yeh the servers are pretty full. @the 30 thing...yes yes it is. (not sayin this cause im a COD addict or anything). Quote
rolf Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Sorry for bumping this, but I have a question related to this thread: Is the PC version of this game worth buying for 30 dollars? I mean, do CoD4 servers still get full on a daily basis? Because I'd like to try the MP out. Keeping in mind I'm a W:ET player, what I'm looking for is a game with a large community of players with many mods available. And no, I don't care much about graphics, so I don't really need MW2/3 if CoD4 is still popular. CoD4 doesn't have many (active) mods, we used to have a mod server but that one is gone since it was only used a lot the first three months it was on. CoD4 is basicly just one game, however -in my opinion- well balanced. I guess only ProMod is a widely used mod, where there are for example limitations on snipers and stuff. The community isn't large but it is very close If you can miss 30$, I would buy it. But I already have it Quote
General Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 uhm, idk where you can buy it for 30 LOL. it was 20 in my gamestop like 2years ago.. but cod4 is the most balanced and greatest cod yet. the rest arent competetive There are a number of active mod servers^^ Quote
Redzy Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Alright, thanks for the input, everyone. Well I live in Europe and the cheapest downloadable non-steam version seems to be this one. I don't really need a hard copy of it, tbh. And I won't mind the fact there aren't many active mods as long as the game itself is balanced enough. ET for example would be kind of unplayable without mods. But COD4 costs money so I'm guessing this doesn't apply to it. Quote
