I'm not familiar with gun prizes out of Germany so I couldn't tell what the price would be. But is buying a gun in a pawn really a legal thing? Though I'd thought getting a gun on the streets would be much more expensive...

Well, according to his behaviour acting like a total moron I have no doubt he's that smart to went into the store to actually by it after the robbery went wrong.^^

Yes, in US pawn shops buy and sell but are most used for pawning. For people who can't get a loan or credit card they will being there items into a pawn and get a loan for the item put up and make payments on it but if they stop paying legally we get the item and the already made payments. People come in just to shop items for sale as we often get top of line electronics, jewelry, and we have a nice collection of firearms.

These shops are kept under-check of local and federal laws. All items sold or pawned have to be kept in the backroom for 30-days and SN's (electronics) kept in a data base and shared with local PD. Stops anyone from pawning or selling a 'hot' item and we have scanned id's that are also shared with PD in accordance to the law.

Firearms are no different and only difference is they are under a 60 day-hold before I or anyone else can sell them. Local offices do keep track of any and all gun sales as well.

We do sell Tobacco products and legal variants of K2 as well which much pawns are getting into now. With that begin said we are at high risk but the fact we work closely with PD and the amount of security cameras and several of our employees have permits so it stops most people from trying.

We will not sell ammo. (gun/ammo stores are hit all the time as local bangers can restock)

This stops it as bangers have no interest in a pile of empty SN protected guns.

Therefor any crime we would have would be quickly stopped and/or most likely prevented.

Far as the illegal firearms as you mentioned they are cheaper due the supply of them on the street and most of these ill-intent people will cutthroat each others prices. These been reports of people buying a handgun for $10 before due to the amount of them on the streets. If you are caught with an unmarked or stolen firearm it's a straight 5-years.

There has actually been undercover stings on the news slimmer to how they prevent position and drugs sales. A lot of people where arrested in the sting for buying a fire arm. Prisons are over populated so much of these low lifes are back out before their sentence is close to even finish.

Illegal firearms are a huge problem and it's one we all want solved.

Used to joke that America becoming South America due to the relaxed laws on such down there.

These story's are daily continuance and like I linked to on previous page two inmates just escaped prison between time I posted the thread. Never really share our local story's but begin a COD robbery figured you all would get a kick out of it.

If that would have happend here in deep south texas, the guy with the game would have been shot in the face, and his car stolen and found on fire yards from the rio grande river(border of tex and mex) Ive heard alot of places around the u.s are dangerous, and i wont deny that but what im saying is that people down here dont really care about anything, corrupt cops, border patrol, judges all bought off by the cartels of mexico..its really crazy down here i invite everyone to come visit. all the drugs and guns that pass though here is ridiculous

i mean its good for buyers since there is any drug you can think of illegal or legal.

what pisses me off is that a cartel from mexico was assisting to cross over al qaeda into my hometown, they were caught and it only made headlines

1 day...in my opinion america should go break off a boot in cartels asses, basically kill anyone fighting alongside them and steal there drugs and guns.

i dont want a war against mexico or the people of mexico, just the cartels which are terrorists,I mean why cross a ocean when we can just cross a river?

i have a friend some people from mex tried to kill him took a machete to his head, right above the forehead (he survived)

and they got away becuause they went back to mexico :(

I would take the hood anyday.

Our criminals are dumb and can often be outsmarted and overpowered.

Begin a mother it's gonna be hard to stay here as it's not a kid friendly place.

Often debated about selling out and moving.

Far as myslef I keep a MDE .380 in my purse and not afraid to use it if I had to.

Kids are another thing though and probably will move due to that factor.

The cartels are way worse and their crimes are often plotted and thought out. Most places in South America if you got cash you can commit any crime and walk as you said. Brazil, Asuncion and Argentina the southern is always more government controlled and idea places to live in SA but when you cross into northern Brazil territories and north from there it's all drug cartels and no laws. I'll give you that, cartel crimes will scare you.

I hear Texas is getting worse due to Mexico and that's a shame. In the future it will track north and quite possibly be a war between the gangs here and cartels to south as their territory for imports is coming north.

East, West and North Missouri seem to be perfect but it won't be too long before problems of south and middle boil over into the other areas. Like I said we are slowly becoming SA.

yea the cartel fights have been in the RGV as long as i can remember,im 23 now and

I live 15 minutes from the border and i remember a time when you could go to mexico and

not worry about getting kidnapped/murdered or have to pay a mex.police officer for him not

to rob you and take you to jail..its very sad because in here along the river different cartel

control certain areas of the border on that side, and they fight for who gonna run it,the fighting spills

over to texas and because i live so close to the border id say at lease half the people that live in

the rio grande valley are illegal.that being said they've seen worse things in mexico so when it does come to

town its not as big a deal..people go missing bodies never found,or only an arm or torso...babies being sold

to smugglers to kill and package with drugs..its very sad down here..i love where im from but im thinking about moving to austin when i complete

school..my dream though is to move to canada and open a real mex resturant for the winter texans that come

and spend the winter season in the valley of texas...they got some big balls :D

Its just incredible. I'm just amazed...

The next time I'll see my neighboor or someone else with a video game I don't have, I'll just take a knife, threaten/kill him and take the game. Simply.

Video games are making people crazy and totally fool....

Was talking about the dependence on such and I did not see it as a factor but sadly I'll have to admit on this.

I'm not sure if we as people are becoming more violent so we rely on more violent means of entertainment or if the entertainment caused it. Either way there is a clear connection between the two and I believe parents need to start motioning these forms of entertainment and teach kids right from wrong. Every generation is getting worse and I truly believe it's because of a lack of discipline begin teached. Violence is begin amplified so I think we need to do the same to teaching and discipline to help our generation and the next to prevent where we are headed.
