Cool, weird, interesting, and crappy jobs...

Anyone on the forums have a cool. weird or interesting job? post it here!

 

I have a pretty cool job. I get to tesy drive and wrench on the M1 Abrahms US Army Battletanks. Before they get to the troops we get them off the assembly line, run full diagnostics, troubleshoot, repair, and take them out on the obstacle course before handing them over for gov audit. Proud of my job!

 

I wanna know what some of these interesting people on here ive met do when not wreaking havoc on the servers!!! lol!

I have a friend that does the radio tower stuff. Not for me.

 

Here are my jobs I've had since I was 9 years old in order.

 

Gofer at motorcycle shop.

Assembling motorcycles (scary that a 9 y.o. Put your ride together)

Sewage Treatment plant worker.

Pizza joint.

Gas station attendant.

EMS/Fire/Rescue paramedic.

Emergency Room Paramedic.

Phlebotomist.

Flight Paramedic.

Pediatric ICU nurse.

Pediatric Flight Nurse.

Pediatric Cardiac ICU nurse.

Pediatric Vascular Access Nurse.

 

My current job is that I poke kids with needles. I absolutely love my job and there is something very sadistic about that.

 

Will see if I have some old flight pics/videos. Lost most in computer crashes.

Work in a supermarket in stock control. My job is to find the products that are out of date in the next day. I then scan the barcode onto a scan and sometimes I get to put a reduced sticker on them I also have to reduce the product the next day by 80 percent at 8pm and by 95 at 10pm. I enjoy my job a lot, but it can also cause stress when I am on my own and have certain amount of jobs to do at a specific time.

 

I worked in a bar 2 years ago also collecting glasses. Worked there until it closed a year later and served pints to people towards the end as well.

If you got to work on the runways or be a mechanic it would be cool. I dunno if I have the temperance to deal with angry, running late, rude people face-to-face at the desks though hahaha

bars can be an awesome or very stressful job. Dealing with people drunk on whiskey is a tough job alone haha #1 rule of a bartender is never try to talk sense to a drunk. It never works. I've been a barkeep and a bouncer in 5 different barsclubs and sometimes I still bar back every once and a while for a god friend of mine

For 21 years I delivered fresh baked goods (Entenmanns) to the stores. Maybe not the coolest, most interesting, or crappy of jobs but there was always something good to eat in my house. Now as far as the name of our parent company, well I have you there, Entenmanns is owned by "BIMBO BAKERIES". The looks I get when I wear one of my Bimbo tees is always fun.

I work with the top of society in the County jail, been a Deputy Sheriff there for 17 years. Sometimes stressful but I do get to punch people once in a while so that's a perk. Our daily population is about 1,100 jammed packed...love it or hate it only have 8 years to go till I retire....

I Unload and Load Chickens In and out of barns, and i do roofing.
