FiveMagic
Didn't really know where to put this since there is no Software section in the "Software & PC Support" section Anyway, i would like to start recording guitar covers but i don't want to use a Camera and have music playing in the background because it just doesn't sound good. I want to be able to record my guitar playing straight onto my computer then add the songs to the background, this way you can clearly hear me play but also hear the song. Just like what this guy is doing (You can hear the drums/bass) Can anyone recommend some software that can do this and what do i need to plug into my Guitar/amp to get it to my computer? kristy
Audacity is amazing, in my opinion. It's free, and you can add tracks to it. Download here: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/ I'm not sure if you can hook up your guitar directly into your computer and then record it, but you can record the sounds into a microphone and then layer the tracks one by one. Hope this helped
