Welcome home Atlantis thank you for the years of service. Sad that this is now over. I am sure there are many tears being shed at Cape Canaverial today. I hope I am still alive to see the next venture of NASA.

I think they will revive the project sooner or later and add something new. Did they ever published what they achieved during this programs?

I just read this morning that they are thinking of sending a team to an astiroid to see how its course can be changed. They feel we are overdue for a hit by one. They are going to use the Orion craft. Makes you wonder do they know something that we don't.
