Some direction/instructions would be great! Also, you guys suggest getting vent, I know that's a chat program, but what exactly does it do? Thanks. Brisk Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Xfire tracks how many hours you spend playing games, and lets your friends know when you're playing any given game (as well as the server you're playing on, if it's multiplayer). It also takes and upsloads/hosts screenshots and videos. That's the basic two line description. Ventrillo is a voice chat/VOIP program. mew Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 well xfire is an instant messaging, if you need any help with a problem on the server or something else and a member or friend will help you and also to communicate with us with a friendly chat but it also saves the servers your in when you play any game onto xfire and check on whos playing on the server and shows others friends on your xfire what games you like to play etc etc... yeh ventrillo is chatting with a mic with other members around the world and communicating but it also be useful in-game where you can work as a team and work together in a group by talking one another cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
