i upgraded my WO ET with punkbuster, but now it says, that i cant open WO ET anymore.

can some1 tell me please what i can do, so i can play again??? miss the game :S

I had a similar problem, but that was because I was pee-ed off with PB failing to work after a update so I started randomly deleting files in my ET folder that didn't look right.

 

Are all your files intact? Try repair on W:ET to see if that's the problem.

sry but what means WO ET ? you previously had no PB installed?

when did you get that message? directly from the start?

if not, do you get any console messages?

 

if it does not even start, you should maybe make a new installation. (here already all mods included)

Try this:

 

In the shortcut of your ET right click properties.

 

Then go to compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode > Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

 

Then at privilege level click on the box for running it as an administrator.
