Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm starting to lose pleasure in playing the game. This is why you've seen me less and less ingame. Doesn't mean that I'm completely quiting E.T, but just need to maybe discover some new games or just new passions in my life in general. With my autism, making decisions ain't always easy. Sometimes I think I want to play but turns out I quickly get bored after 1 - 2 games. I also came back yesterday on Genshin Impact and maybe I'll play it more now. So yeah, I have a routine and stuff but I've been feeling like breaking free of it (not big changes in an instant, I just need a slow transition to get out of it).

Also, feel free to suggest me new games to try for my mid computer (ASUS TUF GAMING A17 with GTX 1650 Ti graphic card), I'm all for it.

FPS, RPG, Adventure, 3rd person shooters are my favourite genres I'd say.

Have you tried the sun wukong? Games actually dope if you like boss fights

If it's some triple A games I have no interest, sorry.

Modern games have several issues but one comes in my mind first :

It's just too demanding in ressources (I once tried running Hogwarts Legacy on my laptop and was stuck at the loading screen before it crashed). If I had better material, maybe I would reconsider it.

Yeah I get that man. Modern games are demanding as hell, especially on older hardware. Wukong would probably make that laptop explode lol. 😂 I still think some of the older games are better than what we're getting today anyway. That's one reason I keep coming back to ET.

i have switched up games sometimes when I need a mental break --- my go to (if trying to avoid the high-demand tiltes) are the witcher 3, valheim, any of the assassin creeds !

Never. Isn't it like one of those city builders like Clash Of Clans ?

I have heard so much good feedback of The Witcher. I might try it out sometimes soon or later idk, we'll see. My father played AC 1 in the past, but he didn't like it very much. Don't remember why but yeah, I could try.

Did I recently sink a few hours into American Truck Simulator following all traffic laws and blasting classic rock....yes, yes I did 😂

@Armagedonyx Assassins Creed Valhalla I was a big fan of and recently got AC Shadows (samurai version) which im excited about...it was discounted a few days ago on Steam!

I’ll second the mention of Valheim. It’s one of those games that was in early access forever and is now on the real v1 now.

I’ll also add Icarus and No Man’s Sky. I’m not sure how they will do on your hardware, but they are both very deep games. A bit of combat, adventure/exploration, base building, good online communities, and regular updates. Sometimes when I want a change from ET these games scratch the itch for me since they both allow you to be very progression/task oriented or kind of do whatever you want while still being fun.

I have a small crew I play Icarus with sometimes so if that game seems up your alley and you want to play with some others since it doesn’t have matchmaking style online play, let me know and you should join us!

abstinence makes the heart grow fonder, they say!

I was rather sick 3-4 months back and could not play a level even at 25% capacity for weeks bcos brain haze so I took some time off

upon returning it was 2x as enjoyable

FPS: Give valorant a try ? People have mixed opinions about it , but for me it's the last safe haven for shooters. not exactly a new game but it's still very popular and doesn't require much in terms of pc specs , casual modes still fun and almost no cheaters , way better than playing et or cs if you ask me

for  other games , visual novels ?  i still play everyday and they are super fun  but idk if you will like them

As for other stuff I recommend running and/or lifting (if you don't already)
