After several years without updates to Jaymod, I am pleased to announce that we have implemented new server-side changes designed to enhance the experience for our admins and regulars. These updates are currently live on the Jay2 server, and pending successful testing, we plan to roll them out to Jay #1 and Beginners #1 (Fast Shoot) shortly.

 

1) Jaymod mod specific changes:

| !kd              | Displays your overall Kill/Death ratio across all gameplay.   |

| !kdcurrent       | Shows your current map Kill/Death ratio.                      |
+------------------+---------------------------------------------------------------+
| !shufflerating   | Performs team shuffle using ELO + K/D (new system).           |
|                  | Different from !shufflekdrating.                              |

2) ETL 2.84 server, Omnibot/Jaymod interface update, omnibot mod update, censor improvements (regex) based modules vs standard jaymod implementation, map sprees auto clear after 30 days, etc.

  • I would like members and regulars to focus on gameplay vs worrying on language. So I am hoping censor improvements helps with handling verbal e-fights :) 

 

3) Jay2 AC is also updated, which brings it inline to Jay1 AC version. Special thanks to ELEL for testing initially with me and to all our members/regulars who participated in testing.

The next "Jay#2 Gathering" event at 6:30pm server time tomorrow will give it a more "populated test", too!  😄
