Im currently investigating my ISP issues and try to find out where my packets get lost. While discussing this in a FTTH-Forum, some member told me to use trippy ( https://github.com/fujiapple852/trippy )
I've never heard of it before so i thought it would be a nice upgrade for mtr or winmtr for some people here.

If you load maxmind  geoip database you can show a world map (inside a console) and where the isp hop is located. There are many many options you can use.

( you an install it on debian13 or newest ubuntu from standard repo - apt install trip )
Nice tool imo.

A GIF-file from that GitHub topic.  This is not an endorsement, just a bit more info! 😄

I do know that winMtr is the favorite of @daredevil and the FA -Founders.

One question is whether new-to-Internet-networking would find winMtr or Trippy easier to use and/or understand and whether the info generated would be more useful for the clan to analyze in posts.
