Then few days ago, same happen with Jay 1, one day great, next, lag, low fps. I just made a demo of Jay 2 just a little while ago, everything fine, next demo, went straight from Jay 2 to Jay 1, lags, low fps. hopefully I uploaded demos correctly Quote

captnconcrete Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) can we get a tracert ? when u lag. jay2 doesnt run same jaymod as jay1 . if i try to play jay1 with jay2 mod folder it takes me to dl a 2.2.0 mod. compare cfg settings maybe. but it works fine on other servers. so tracert would be next step. ps i never tell people to dl another mod to fix a diff mod problem. not saying dling etleacy isnt good . i just disagree . do u run w11 maybe try giving hardcore mod folder and jay1 2.2.0 folder admin privilege.. an possibly primitives is set wrong in those 2 folders? usually when primitives reverts back to stock your resolution does also ...is this happening? Missing line in lagometer means, you have HD IO or CPU related stuff ongoing skipping frame generation. Thanks he has a solid frame rate an all is good on jay2 maybe remove jaymod2.20 folder and re down load it . and same for silent remove mod folder and reconnect to server. this is what i think Graphics: NVIDIA NVS 3100M (512MB) integrated Intel HD Graphics. if his lappy is reverting those two mods to his intel intergrated hd graphics maybe thats why his fps goes from 125 stable to low 20s on jay1 and silent servers ive seen it happen before . if so simply going into gpu settings and forcing it to select 3100m instead should fix it. I would assume you mean 4gb of ram. If the I would assume as it’s an integrator gpu pass off is already handled on the chip die but it is safe to check disabling the integrated graphics on the chip via bios. But based on those specs I would assume a few things. Ram being insufficient and handing over to ram disc (hdd converted to slow ram) 4gb is a very minimum to run windows 10. If this is not the case which is more than likely it is possible when assets are requests to load to ram the HDD itself is slow heading cpu from ram far to slowly. In either case I would direct the user to a Ubuntu Linux install for a far more stream lined experience on the older hardware. 1 Quote
