Will be creating a way to join within the next few days. Via website, Discord etc. 

 

This project has begun to hit the stages of reality! It's amazing! I have even been having tons of fun just messing around getting distracted in test play killing bots 😄

Hi,

 

The title 'Enemy territory ashes of war' is too bombastic, it does even little bit hurt my eyes 🙈.

I see why you want it that big since you want to attract to the title, but maybe make it a little bit more subtle and smaller. It also feels a bit copy/pasted on that wall due too it is that big and so white. Maybe lower the opacity a little bit or don't use #FFFFFF white but a more grey white.

The games logo is not final just the menu part the logo there is a place holder

Just want to update

 

We originally planned to anticipate game launch using the 6 original maps. ( they’re still being made but will not be available until I can get the SplahDamage approval. 🙄 

 

Side note:

we will be looking for streamers/ video editors? Please participate If this is or interest ?

To be fair, we don’t know exactly what happened they may have received a cease and desist from Splash Damage, which is something I’m working extremely hard to avoid. That said, it didn’t appear they got very far, though I can’t say for certain.

 

This project will continue for as long as I am able. My vision has always been to create a version of ET with true competitive integrity. I saw this project as an opportunity to make that a reality especially with Epic’s integration of Easy Anti-Cheat, a widely trusted solution, rather than relying on  homebrew PunkBuster 2.0. It felt like this project was calling to me, so I turned it from a dream into a playable concept.

 

I consulted friends with legal expertise to help ensure the project stays on the right side of Splash Damage’s IP rights, and made careful adjustments accordingly. From there, I began building in the features I always felt ET was missing.

 

You don’t need to worry it’s happening. A playable alpha already exists. It just takes time to rebuild everything from scratch, as I cannot legally use any of ET’s original code. So I’m implementing it my way, from the ground up

You can! 

 

We will be in need of many things. I will be making some updates to involve "applications" to join the team and things of that nature which will better outline what positions will be available and what skills are required to be considered etc. 

 

Hit me up on Discord or DM here if thats easier, but we can find a spot for ya. We will need many positions outside of the game development itself. 

Media Creators (video/poster for advertising)

Content Creators (for streaming things to promote games)

Story Writers (writing dialog for the game)

Advertising Department (social medias etc)

Then we will also even need things such as support teams, ones to answer tickets for ones having troubles with anything from accounts to whatever. 

Moderators for the Discord & website (once website is launched) 

 

Buncha stuff really. Even thinking doing a contribution package like ones who contribute by donation will earn extra perks like early early access, early updates, things of that nature. 

 

Also, this has become much more of a real deal much faster than I could ever anticipate. Huge HUGE credit to our boy @RNGesus !!
