Monitor settings need help :D???

have a 240hz monitor in desktop 240hz in game 200hz or sometimes 180-190hz why does anyone know maybe use dp cable in nvdia settings is also on 240hz ?

Turn of V-sync and/or g-sync in monitor settings. You get less hz in game because your monitor tries to match your hz to your ingame fps. Also make sure you have r_displayrefresh 240

vsync/gsync is off and in my cfg is actually already on 240hz hm

Maybe lowering the screen resolution can increase fps. Lowering the resolution will surely give you a smoother game (I play with 1024 x 768), and you will be able to play with more stable fps and with the hertz that the screen gives you. You should check some things too:

Sometimes monitors with 240 hz are only prepared for freesync.
1) Does your monitor have the "Nvidia Gsync" logo? If so, you can help yourself with the cfg nvidia program to play;

2) I think that in jay 1 you can play with your fps that your monitor would give you, I understand that you already have com_maxfps 250 set.
If you use com_maxfps 160 or 200, it is logical that your monitor gives you those hz in relation to your fps.
You should check my topic from February 14, 2022, here I show you how if you use com_maxfps 125 your hz goes down to 124 and if you use com_maxfps 200, your hz goes up to 200 (as long as the monitor has them clear, which would be your case)

That means gsync/vsync of freesync is still on. You need to turn it off from monitor menu (freesync) and also in nvidia settings.

I made 200Hz in the game and I tested Freesync deactivated with 240fps stays at 200Hz try with your setting not works

My GPU is NVDIA and monitor is Freesnyc Premium Pro

NVDIA settings I have to activate gsync and in the game 240fps then it works monitor shows me then 240Hz bad setting really Have to live with it xd but thank you very much 👌
