ET SILENT #1 cmd. /players

Hi all.

 

=F|A= SILENT RECRUITING XPS all players can use this cmd to see rate, snap and maxpackets but also slot number this is opportunity for cheaters, anytime admin !finger or !aliases they can anonymously use this cmd to check which slot is under investigation and turn it off/stop using. Is there anything we can do to stop this ?

My 2 cents, If a player is cheating, I feel that they wouldn't care about why they're being looked into or watched. They knew from the get go what they already planned on doing before they even double clicked that Icon. So keep using /players, get that finger and aliases info and record when you can 🙂

On jaymod servers on every lvl, i have started playing on Silent from 15 lvl, so maybe i was wrong

If you do things in this order, you dont "alarm" the cheater:

1. record first and get the proof 

2. take !finger and !aliases

 

P.S. If the "cheater" quit before you get their info, pm a leader asap about it and we can search it. We just need the exact name. You can condump /players list to do this anonymously, just to be safe and sure.

as long as you still suspect a player, you dont want him to even think hes being watched like you said

before i could take info through silent commands i used to !list and /condump. this way i have player's info (pbguid and sguid) which is enough for leaders to search his info by guids.
