New (pretty old) ROG laptop

Hi guys, I manage to aquire this old gem of ROG hi-end laptop from 2015.

 

GL752VW-T4108D

i7-6700HQ, 16 GB DDR4,Geforce GTX 960M 4GB with ssd of 0.5tb

 

I must to admit it runs games pretty well even for now. 

RDR2 goes OK with middle settings. (But struggling with more complex calculations). 

Old games like gtav, witcher 3 etc - with high-ultra. 

 

I also get used to its hi temperatures (normal range for this laptops is 65-75C t°. peak). 

Its very hot. 

I have change silicon paste for better temp dissperse. 

 

Sadly Win11 said this cpu it outdated for new installation. 

 

Now I will try to play on minimal settings games like: 

 

Hogwarts Legacy

Cyberpunk 2077

and Starfield. 

 

Lets see how it will go.

nice make sure u keep the fans clean on them lappys .

+1 on blowing out the cooling. Laptop stands with fans for $20-30 would likely help with cooling helping feed unrestricted air into it. Congrats!
