Which ET version are you using?, I read that as your client not being compatible with the server?

only 2.6b or ETL 2.76 clients can connect to nq2, due to the old server files.

Im connecting with Et legacy. So that seems to be why i cant get on.

Apparently installing ET from steam also installs 2.6 b

Or do Legacy also install 2.6 b?

Im still trying to set up my ET as you can see.

And because i have had to reinstall a couple of times now. I have done a uninstall a couple of times one time i uninstalled 2.6b in the proces together with ET and i thought hey when did i install 2.6b. Righth now i dont have it in intalled list. i have

wolfenstein ET

ET legacy

on my computer.

But what if i want to have a game set up for

Et Legacy ( like now)

NoQ2

Etpro?

I ve had several talks with the etlegacy development team about supporting the old serverprotocol 82 version, but they simply gave up support on old servers.

support is discontinued from the Etl version 2.77 and Higher.

that's why you need an old client for an old server.
