Strange Reload Issue on NQ

Anytime I'm in a firefight, my gun reloads after every 2 shots. I have autoreload off.

If I just aim at a wall, or someone not firing back, it doesn't do it.

 

 And NQ doesn't autodemo every map I play like other servers do >:

I remember that being an issue for me visualwise (so no real reload happening) coming from alt tabbing. Sadly not quite sure how i got rid of it tho.

I've had a quick gander on forums, i know i've seen the problem and solution before but just cant find it.

Did you ever figure why it was doing it on silent back in 2019?

No, it still does it but not as bad as on NQ where it literally does it after every 2 or 3 shots

Have u tried creating new profile ET and playing with default cfg? Give that a try and see if that fixes the issue.

When I load ET it's on default profile and then I exec mine; I'll try leaving it on default later and see what happens.

I might have to make a modified cfg for NQ if it's a setting in the one I use now

That doesn't help and you will keep going in circles. Create new profile and don't load any of your config. If you have config under autoexec.cfg - rename it so it doesn't load. Then check how it goes.

Doesn't Cvar_restart do the same thing?

It doesn't work as expected sometimes depending on seta if you have used or some errors.. OR path changes. Back in the days, everything was under game folder and now it's in document folder depending on what kind of installation you have used. 

 

Creating profile removes all those nuances.
