I think that If you check the winrate of the team , axis is much higher than allies lately . Because this game has a lot of veteran players and it is easy to wait and camp and fire to defend like in real life. To destroy that defense advantege , the number of the attacker soldiers must be much more bigger or the much more technology advantages or something like that. It is easy and fun to camp and wait , defense for axis because most of the player of this game know objectives and what to attack and defense. I think that It is really hard to break the defense for allies with same number of the team now. So I think that to balance the game for now , Allies should be fast and rush the game in the chaos like old method and finish before the defense and camp of the position completed so , for example turn off the anti rush or reducing the FO's cooldown time .. I don' know if the cooldown time is reduced (like default) its much stronger for axis too but I think if the allies can spam arty It can break the defense of some point xq

I like how this game is so old and still alive and active and appreciate for you people for hard work to keep alive.I like this game's atmosphere so much.

but to play on allies it is so frustrating now days and hard to win. I don' know if you can check winrate and match history for long span like LOL(league of legends) or other games but I think it is pretty unbalanced now 😢

I don't know if there are way to make attacker side , slightly advantaged .. and make team even and balanced .. but I really feel allies rarely win , and axis is fun to camp and wating time is non stress , wait and shoot , destroy attacker

I think just need to turn off the anti rush and make can spam more arty and some of FO can call arty for some other place more .(I think this server is increasing cool down time and blocking FO to spam arty on many places at the same time to not let FO get highest fragger so easily)

I don't know which is good but Do any other ppl think and feel it is so hard and stressful and a little miserable to win on allies or the attacker side lately.

I understand if you change settings too much it can destroy and break other balances but I don't know xq

Just I feel if you can check the win rate I think axis is much higher than allies so not balanced...

I'm assuming youre talking about jay1? Thats the server where axis win most games.

 

Problem isnt really in our settings. Most maps allies have quicker respawn times.

 

Sometimes allies roll over axis and win a map under 10 minutes, even with antirush.

 

The main problem with allies is lack of objective focus. We've had many times where allies had significantly more firepower and still fail to win the map objectively (some instances they were ahead by 200-300 and still lost).

 

Take goldrush GALS for example. many fraggers sit by the 2nd truck barrier and camp and shoot axis leaving spawn. They provide little to no help for engies rushing the tank at 2nd tank barrier. Many allied engies will focus on planting defensive landmines by stairs near the courtyard. Allied mortar aims at spawn often while some axis still have spawn shield, rather than helping clear the tank area. Same goes for fops arty.

 

Antirush is kept in so someone on offense team doesnt cheese the map in 2 minutes and ruin the fun for everyone.

Hi! How are you? I understand that you are writing because of what happens to you on the server, what is it? I imagine it is silent1 or hardcore?

 

Because this usually happens on servers where there is no double jump, which make it difficult the attack (mostly the maps are defended by the Axis, of course).
In all the other FA servers there is a double jump, even in jay1 and jay2 you can jump even more, which is usually the other way around, it makes it more difficult to defend (although in small maps and with many people like in jay1 there is another factor that is the server full and makes it compensate for this).

 

I agree that on servers with a simple jump it is easier to defend, but if you can shoot the artillery, put many mines, the panzer is very difficult to dodge it, etc. But those are the rules of the game there, and you have to respect them.

 

The suggestion I make to you and to everyone is that you always use /scores in the console and try to see if there is much difference in kills and deaths. If this difference is very big, as the admin wiki says, you can call in main chat or send a pm to some admin who is playing or observing and try to even. https://fearless-assassins.com/wiki/index.php/W:ET_Admin_Basics

Another suggestion is to record anything that happens on the server using /record and then /statsdump command (is like /scores but it is recorded in the demo) is also very useful (once recording), which will record the supposed difference in the scores and thus have the evidence, to be able to even the teams when is needed.

Adren also makes getting objective in almost impossible scenarios more possible. I often need adren to get objective especially in the situation you describe where axis is stronger and smarter, more experienced.  Its actually worse when players like that work together to do objective. You can't always fight your way out or in...thats why adren can save games.

 

On silent without adren it can be almost impossible to get a objective without juice. Sometimes to get objective you drop in by surprise, run like hell firing...you don't stick around to fight...

 

In silent you get chopped down before you can even reach objective without juice.

If you want to see more objective based play and less melee style fragging, start playing on Jay 2. We need more people there anyway
