NITMOD SERVER ????

Any reason the nitmod server was changed from deathmatch to objective just wondering thanks alot.. have a great day

I think it's because Nitmod servers have been updated to the last version 2.0

May be same bug because I didn't changed it or may be Nitrox did to fix/change/test something. I have no single clue.

I didnt change the gametype.

 

Gametype was still TDM but g_TDMObjBonus was set to 100.

 

Since g_TDMScore = 170 and it's kill based rather than XP based, completing the obj was giving 100 points to the winning team, and probably ending the round most of the time.

 

I chaned g_TDMObjBonus to 15, but it will probably need to be added into the server config.

 

For those who don't know about cvars and stuff, here's a little part of the N!tmod doc:

 

g_TDMScore [integer]

 

If Team Death Match is enabled, this will define the score that has to be reached by a team to win the round.

 

Default: 500

 

 

g_TDMOptions [bitflag]

 

Bitflags to control some options specific to Team Death Match gametype.

 

1 : If set, 1 point will be added to team score per kill. Other XP points will be given to the players but will not be added to the team score. Don't forget to review g_TDMObjBonus and g_TDMScore values if you are using this option.

2 : Disable selfkill (/kill) during TDM

4 : Disable Artillery Support during TDM (N!tmod 2.1)

 

Default : 0

 

 

g_TDMObjBonus [integer]

 

If set, this is the number of Bonus Points that will be given to a team if the final objective is completed.

 

Default : 100
