DoubleDragon
Are you using a Intel Motherboard
DoubleDragon
Well the driver you have installed is using ACL1220 which technically isn't available online possible because it's not made by Realtek or something You should uninstall that one and use this most recent one from here driver version 6.0.1.8036 with sound manager https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/realtek-hd-audio-2-79-driver-download.html This is 2.82 the one in this link https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/pc-audio-codecs-high-definition-audio-codecs-software But this one from Guru3D is probably going to have more codecs Guru3d has been known to have quality drivers

DoubleDragon
If I guess right your running integrated audio with no sound card it may have limits on Audio Buffers If the above driver doesn't work with S/PDIF and Spatial Sound is enabled and its still grayed out then it's possible the boards bios is restricting some functions either cause there is a low power voltage for the driver or the settings in BIOs needs to be looked into for the sound device
DoubleDragon
Like for instance this link shows driver version 6.0.1.8666 and the one I suggested is 6.0.1.8036 not far off maybe try the manufacturers driver https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-X-HERO/HelpDesk_Download/
DoubleDragon
Both are compatible with the motherboard but the one from the Manufacture is around 50mbs smaller meaning it has fewer codecs but both are matches

I installed the one form 3D Guru and the Hardware ID now is MMDEVAPI\AudioEndpoints but still no Audio Manager or 5.1 sound choice
DoubleDragon
Got to remember by default the manager is not enabled you will have to go to the installation folder of the driver open it and configure it
DoubleDragon
Here these people are still talking about it sense May still working it out with the build maybe you can find something useful out of all of it https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/the-ultimate-realtek-hd-audio-driver-mod-for-windows-10.232921/

DoubleDragon
If the Sound Manager is installed correctly it will be installed and executed through the Control Panel either listed as Realtek or in the Sound Take note of this directory you need to back it up for future issues this is where all the drivers are stored C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository Have read you can reinstall a system and restore all drivers this way by just updating the device manager

I wonder if I can just install it off of the installation disk for the motherboard
