Riptide Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Hey, today something weird happen to me I tried to take a demo and my et crashed. when i'm trying to take ss on jaymod my et crash. someone know how to fix it ?
redy. Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I guess you use windows? maybe win 7? What you could try is to run the application as admin. Maybe it has permission issues to write the demo/SS to the disk. Right muse click on the ET symbol / Run As Administrator 2

Platonic Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Sounds like a problem with drivers or your game install? Tried saving your etkey and reinstalling ET? I know it's drastical but I can't think of anything but this and updating your video card drivers.
Clan Friend SunLight Posted August 26, 2015 Clan Friend Posted August 26, 2015 I know it's drastical but I can't think of anything but this and updating your video card drivers. taking a demo is not related to drivers though... it's just about writing some data on the hard drive, it's not supposed to crash. --- how do you record the demo? do you have some bind or you just type the command in the console? does it crash immediately? have you tried other commands that write stuff on the hard disk, like /condump, etc. ? 1
