TC Base / ET Brewdog overhaul by @kemon, ETLegacy team. If you didn't know, base and brewdog are pretty similar, one of the main differences is a different objective. With this overhaul, apart from eye candy textures and new fancy passages, you can customize it and choose which objective(s) you want the players to complete.

This overhaul is highly experimental as it attempts to merge two maps in one. On the one hand the overhaul of the original tc_base from RTCW and on the other brewdog, a document-run conversion of Base made by @crumbs for RTCW and ported to ET by @c0rnn.

 

The default map script settings are trying to replicate the original Base, but you have a multitude of optional settings to transform the map into Brewdog-style gameplay and even a few additional experimental gimmicks. I will try to create a proper documentation of all optional features for the map, but until then, please let me know in ⁠mapping if you have questions regarding the options or feedback in general.

 

This is the initial release of the overhaul so please report anything you notice. [#mapping, on the ETLegacy Discord]

 

NOTE

Bot files from tc_base or et_brewdog will most likely not be convertible! Sorry.

 

Initial release version: v2. Next versions are gonna be uploaded and supplied with a proper change-log. Comparison pictures by kemon.

This map is an overhaul of the original Base (tc_base) map from RTCW.
It is also an overhaul of Brewdog, a document-run conversion of Base made by crumbs.
As part of the ET: Legacy asset creation effort, certain maps are being overhauled.
Those maps have been selected for their stable gameplay, even in a competitive environment.
