  1. I see the jaymod server being shuffled with even teams and 40 players... whats the point of this?
  2. Fred kicked a friend of mine by accident to let a member on one time, the server was full and my friend was unable to connect for about 5 minutes. Fred was nice enough to disconnect himself and let my buddy get into the server, just thought I'd share.

I like how joe says "just dodge the knifes" and you can clearly see the knifes hitting a wall and going around a corner to hit the enemy. peace

I don't agree with this thought process, let's focus at the issue at hand which is the removal of poison knifes and not go down the slippery slope of "well if we remove this then we gotta remove that" I think limiting knifes to cov ops a/o soldiers would be ok, this would cut down on the rambo meds.
  5. If this is a democracy then the motion to remove the poison knifes is winning! If you're going to disable them for certain maps then limit the number of knifes used...to 1... you get one shot! you miss and I take your face off :shock:

  8. That's exactly the problem, people use/abuse them and it creates an inbalance in gameplay because they do too much damage. It would be ok if these stupid things were used as a last resort ie. in a firefight finishing your primary weapon clip, finishing your secondary and being empty of spirt only to be too far away to make an effective effort to knife your enemy should you use it. Often I see it used as a primary weapon, players throw them and then proceed to take out their smg to finish off the disoriented enemy - it's pathetic. As for the panzer / rnade argument, these weapons are limited per team unlike throwing knifes which any player can use.

  10. The Medic is the more powerful Class in ET, but it is also the weakest. This all depends solely on the player. Discussing mouse sensitivity is useless, everyone's computer hardware is different. Opening door's silently can also be achieved while walking.

    ya blu fix all those problems first...geez The switch to hitmode 5 is alot more involved then I originally thought with it's share of issues as Daredevil has already noted. I think the focus for now will be to tighten up the anti lag on hitmode 4 and see how that works out.
  12. Where are these good meds you speak of - I have yet to see one on your server. Poison knifes really make the gameplay unbalanced if abused and it seems like the majority of players are abusing them instead of occasionally using them.
  13. I've always prefered servers focusing on quality players, so if some white name 250+ pinger stops playing I wouldn't lose much sleep. There are so few quality servers nowadays that I don't see it as a problem. You've played on the BB server, which runs hitmode 5 boxes - do you see the same antilag issue on their server aswell? I think this is just the nature of the hitboxes and players shooting styles, hitmode 5 requires a player to be more percise and use burst firing as opposed to holding down the mouse and just aiming. Now this is were antilag comes into play. My problem is when I start receiving body damage from a high pinger I almost have no chance in avoiding some of that incoming damage, the torso box is so big I end up receiving alot more damage then I should be. There are people on the server, vent and here that have the experience to help streamline the server. I can have a look a the server config if you like. Cheers
  14. Sorry I should have been more clear - post is in reference to the Jaymod server. ETpub hitboxes should be set to 32.
