I play ET 2.55.

Why do I need patch 2.60? What does it do to the game?

1. Fixes client security issue. - Most IMP.

 

2. You will have less CPU usage and hence less lag if you are using old PC.

 

3. More stability. You will never crash out with message overflow or server overflow message since in 2.6b client buffer size is increased.

 

4. And tons of other issues are fixed.

 

Just update it bro.

leave 2.55, 2.6b is worth of updating

 

you still can play 2.55 patch servers after updating (even that FA servers are bests and you dont need other servers)

just download patch selector, follow tutorial and play

• Punkbuster 2.213 Client "December 2009" (PC restart needed after update PB sometimes)
