(Snake)
Hello all! I was wondering if any of you know of a good install package for Enemy Territory for Mac. This because i dont mind installing it from scratch and installing the patches, but the last time that i tried to install ET on Mac i got some errors. So i just want to know if there are better options. Thanks! -Snake

(Snake)
Hmmm.. im having some problems with it. I download it, install it on Applications, installed punkbuster. But when i open the game, and connect to a server, it start downloading the files, but like 3 seconds later it quits with this message: Any ideas of why it does that? I was trying to connect to FA Hardcore server. Thanks, -Snake
Krauersaut
Depending on your OS X version, you either have to manually download the silEnT-pk3 (i.e. silent-0.6.3.pk3) to /Users/snake/Library/Application Support/Wolfenstein ET/silent/ create an autoexec.cfg in /Users/snake/Library/Application Support/Wolfenstein ET/etmain/, setting r_colorbits to 32 and r_allowExtensions to 0 can't play at all because Mountain Lion is incapable of handling filenames with more than 31 characters in ET and dare isn't going to rename the menu file in order to fix the problem for Mac users

Dougl@s
if you had your wolfenstein running but its crash when you start downloading things from the server i got a easy solution: copy your silent folder (from your PC)and past for your wolfenstein ET folder( not etmain folder).i got everything ok includes my ET key with my lvls! i installed Et in 3 diff ways and its works as well:virtualbox, crossover and Mac version. i got a bit of dificulty with mac version, but after kill some of my brain, i got it workfull! my IOS is 10.7.5 and i think its will works with every IOS. I'll try make a tutorial, if someone want
Dougl@s
oh and I forgot! i tried o make a autoexec.cfg with a simple text(like it works with PC) but nooooo you can't use a simple text. i do it: copied a .cfg archive to my desktop(i think it was punkbuster autoexec) and opened with text editor(right click in the archive) after i put this 2 lines - seta r_colorbits 32 and set r_allowExtensions 0. copy to you etmain folder and here we go! Clan Friend SunLight Posted September 10, 2016 Clan Friend Share Posted September 10, 2016 Playonmac is like wine on Linux, right? I guess etpro doesn't work on wine because among other things it had a built-in anticheat and maybe other protections that probably call some OS functions or rely on things that aren't emulated properly by wine. If you really want to play etpro, maybe you could try running the Linux version of ET from a Linux live cd, provided that said livecd supports your graphics card
