I asked the support- they told me there are already all patches- i dont need to upgrade or somehtin else. I downloaded everything and installed that game. Everything was fine until i tried to join F|A Server: Invalid CD-Key This message is always at ranked servers and at few non-ranked too. narug0 told me our BF2 server gonna run non-ranked for few days but i still cant join:=(((( But why im able to join few others server- i dont see any diference??? Favolist I dont understand it and the support of gamesload.de told me on monday the have to check it, may be key is wrong. But why then im able to join few servers and play there when i got a wrong key? I read something about some probs with the key after game was upgraded.my game was already upgraded- may be thats why the key doesnt work? I tried a lot i read on forums. But nothing helps. WarMongrel Posted November 10, 2009 Share Posted November 10, 2009 Just to help explain let me give you some info about servers ranked and unranked. on registered ranked servers the server communicates with EA Sports* on a continual basis. It checks the Key of every player that joins the server. where our server is concerned, even if we run the server in "un Ranked" mode its still connected to EA. So it still checks the Key. Some servers that run non ranked are not connected to EA. This is usually done intentionall by server admin to allow players with "Cracked" Keys to play in server. This is why you may connect to some servers and not others. If your key is invalid it is for one of a few reasons. 1. You purchased your game from a retailer that stole the key and used it before you bought it. In which case as soon as EA saw a duplicate key being used it banned all seen copies and you now have a invalid key. 2. You shared your key with a friend and once again you have both been banned form ranked servers by EA for duplicate key. 3. You downloaded a bit torrent version of the game, used a keygen to gain acess to game play and cant join ranked servers. lmao. In any event you will need a new key to be able to join legit BF2 servers. If you did business with a shady retailer they will probably just say you shared your key and that your out fo luck. Lmao omg thats why i always get killed I didnt shared it with someone and ofc not downloaded illegal lol to #1: Thats why these thieves dont answer- stole key- sold it to me and now gone. Faggots!! OK then, no patience anymore, 20€ was a gift to this crappage. Gonna buy it again this week but this time in a gamesshop- not online! Thx for help guys... May be you got some tipps or tricks?!?!?! try this to all provlens invalid cd key ( serial ) bf2 Type regedit in run Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc Change default value to x9392 followed by your cd key. Don't use hyphens or spaces. if u r using Win 7 Type regedit in run Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc Change default value to x9392 followed by your cd key.
