More and more publishers are starting using the Denuvo anti-tamper solution. Ubisoft has revealed – via the game’s EULA – that Far Cry: Primal will be protected by the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, while Rise of the Tomb Raider was also spotted on Denuvo’s website. Going into more details, Far Cry: Primal’s EULA clearly states that the game uses Denuvo: “THE PRODUCT IS PROTECTED BY DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (“DRM SOFTWARE”) AND DENUVO ANTI-TAMPER PROTECTION TECHNOLOGY” What’s really interesting here is that according to this EULA, some files of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech may remain on the PC even after the game’s uninstalled. “CERTAIN FILES OF THE ANTI-TAMPER TECHNOLOGY MAY REMAIN EVEN AFTER THE PRODUCT IS UNINSTALLED FROM YOUR COMPUTER. “ Regarding Rise of the Tomb Raider, its header image was spotted on Codefusion’s tech support site. This domain is registered to Denuvo’s, Reinhard Blaukovitsch , in Salzburg, where Denuvo has its headquarters. Given also the fact that Square Enix’s latest title, Just Cause 3, used Denuvo, it’s safe to say that Rise of the Tomb Raider will also use it. Rumour also has it that The Division will be also using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech, however its EULA does not reveal such a thing at this point. Microsoft on Monday released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider, giving players a new look at the timed-exclusive Xbox game. Titled "Descent Into Legend," the two-minute video shows Lara Croft's journey through a hostile world replete with danger and puzzles seemingly at every step. Rise of the Tomb Raider launches on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with PC and PlayStation versions coming in 2016. Source http://www.gamespot.com/

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider. The trailer shows Lara making a perilous climb up the side of a mountain, overcoming the elements to reach a cave which, judging from the voice over emphasising "discovering the secrets of the world," she goes on to raid thoroughly. The trailer also teases a full reveal during Microsoft's E3 press conference on June 15. Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced as an "Xbox exclusive" for holiday 2015 during Gamescom last summer. Microsoft's head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, later clarified the exclusivity was for a certain period of time, not permanently. Recently, rumours stemming from an Xbox Australia post circulated suggesting that Rise of the Tomb Raider was now a full Xbox One exclusive. However, asked on Twitter about the message, Spencer said nothing has changed since he revealed last summer, and that Rise of the Tomb Raider was only a timed exclusive for Xbox. Although neither Sony nor Square Enix have talked about Rise of the Tomb Raider on other platforms, it is possible the game could come to PlayStation 4 or PC sometime down the road. Rise of the Tomb Raider is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and is a direct sequel to 2013's Tomb Raider reboot, which has sold more than 8.5 million copies, making it the best-selling Tomb Raider game of all time.
