  • Enemy Territory Resources

    Teaser Paragraph:

It's helpful to look at ET in terms of resources. You start with a fixed amount of hit points (HP), ammunition, sprint, and charge, among other miscellaneous things like artillery/airstrike timeouts, fire rate, class limits, panzer, etc. These resources are renewed at regular intervals either through respawn or just the charge/sprint/HP (medic) bar recharging. Time is a resource. These resources are multiplied by the number of players, except some shared resources like airstrike timeout and class limits.

  • Enemy Territory Aiming

    Teaser Paragraph:

"What's your sensitivity?" you ask, after switching to spectator in an attempt to comprehend what just happened to you.

"It's 1.0," I reply. Truly. And then I let you know where you can get my config. (2000 dpi if you're curious)

    But that won't help you.

  • Enemy Territory Awareness

    Teaser Paragraph:

Game awareness is more than using headphones. In fact, I play with music in the background, making it less likely for me to hear your footsteps. Headphones are much more important when there are fewer total players. Hearing footsteps in a 1v1 is vital, hearing footsteps in a 10v10 is not as important. The more important point is map control.

    Teaser Paragraph:

Read and study the [[W:ET Admin Guide]] carefully. It contains everything you need to know when dealing with rule breakers in order to keep the atmosphere on our servers enjoyable for everyone. Following the guide will guarantee that you are never in the wrong as an admin so it’s a good idea to learn what’s written there. You also need to be familiar with the rules we have on the server, they can all be found on the [[W:ET Server Rules]] page. It’s also worth noting that our rules are not set in stone and some can be open to interpretation. Below are a few extra things that should be more than helpful for our admins.
    =Our Golden Rule=
Sometimes you can solve a situation with ease but you may find that you’ll need to use certain commands when dealing with troublemakers. With that in mind, remember this:
If a problem can be solved with a verbal warning, why use any commands?
If a problem can be solved with a warning command, why mute?
If it can be solved with a mute then why kick?
If a kick solves the problem, why issue a ban?

    In short:
If an issue can be solved with !warn or verbal warnings then why !mute? If it can be solved with !mute, why !kick? If !kick can solve the issue, why !ban?

We encourage our admins to try to speak with people before issuing commands, especially if they aren't repeat offenders. Everyone can sometimes get lost in the moment or have bad days with things happening in real life, so on many occasions establishing contact with the person to reason with them is the better solution and also helps develop a mutual respect. This also ensures nobody's ego gets hurt as commands like !warn, !mute, !kick which can be seen by everyone can often agitate the player more - especially if they believe its unjust and extreme, so we always try to use them as a last resort.
