Hi guys after too long without playing COD4 i decided to try a game on F|A NOMARTY ABNERDOG but when i tried to join, it loaded the map and instantly gave an error saying server disconnected. When i tried to join again it said i may not attempt to join for another 1200 minutes. It's 1AM here now so i will try again in the morning Does anyone know why it does this?

Found another problem. In the bios the graphics mode was set to integrated and not to switchable, its happened to me before. Everything seems fine now and drivers up to date. Thanks again!

Whaha interesting list Ah I did find something about PCI-express being on moderate power saving and changing it definately helped. With big config tweaks COD4 mostly stays above 50 fps when looking over a part of the map. But it could be drivers as well because I found CS:Source has problems. Certain objects appear foggy and players go almost completely gray at medium distance. Maybe the current drivers are still an early rushed release to get the card on sale. Thanks a lot for the help!

I recently bought a Acer Aspire 7750G. Intel i5 2430m up to 3GHz 5GB DDR3 ATI Radeon 6650m 2GB 1TB HDD I know its not built with gaming in mind but I tried playing COD4 on it and it was terrible. Its hardware specs smoke my desktop by far but its almost unplayable on the notebook compared to my desktop with identicaly minimum graphic settings. Am I missing something or is the notebook simply not fast enough?

I got the program to compile but nothing happens when i run the compiled program, there is no text dislayed in the console

I'm going to be going on a three year course on software development and so I want to try get a head start before I leave, it's majority c# with some web development and XNA. I'm using Microsoft visual c# 2010 express but I cant figure out how to compile the source code. I got this sample code to try create a simple program. // Hello.cs public class Hello { public static void Main() { System.Console.WriteLine("Hello, World!"); } } But i get this error when trying to build it gives an error. "Program 'C:\Users\mix-PC\AppData\Local\Temporary Projects\Project1\obj\x86\Release\Project1.exe' does not contain a static 'Main' method suitable for an entry point. Any help is appreciated.

okay I got ther server working, thats awesome! Still a few tweaks but at least its playable, thanks a lot guys!!

windows 7 64bit et version is 2.6b with et starter pro (the Fearless Assassin version) I just go into et normally and select mods, jaymod, and try start a server, I cant find qagame.dll Hmm seems i dont have the right files, going to try get a fresh download of jaymod and see if that helps

Thanks, the only problem with purchasing a server is that im on the wrong continent and I would lag on my own server.. I just want it for my LAN friends, we have about 20 people that LAN every month or two

Hi, I only just started playing ET but its an awsome game and I would like to introduce it to my LANing friends. I tried making a jaymod server but as it starts loading the map it gives this error.. http://www.mediafire...a5tifuafac4nbm6 I dont want any configs or anything, I will be happy to do that myself, I just need help to get the server running, TIA.
