Hey guys here is a thought, THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF KIDS DYING ALL AROUND THE WORLD EACH DAY AND ALL YOU CAN TALK ABOUT IS A FEW LAB GROWN ANIMALS GETTING RUNNY EYES. I have always loved animals but once you start loving a dog more then an innocent human being there is something wrong with you.

 

 

I'm not saying I love animals more than people. I have two little girls. You know that Joe.

 

I just hate seeing animals get treated horribly for no good reason. Sorry it angers you that I feel that way, but I do.

 

If they were testing a cancer cure that would be different. But most testing is done just to be in compliance with the FDA, or because some company's SOP says "all products must be tested" so they don't get sued if some idiot puts drano or mascara in their eye.

Before I go any further I will say that I am a Pagan as well as a lifelong hunter and fisherman and do not take a shot unless I can guarantee a quick clean kill (Don't worry I eat all the animals I kill). This sort of animal testing is, to me, an abomination. If we truly want these items we should suffer to get them. I support 100% paid voluntary human testing. If it were up to me I would put a knife in everyone who performs this sort of animal testing.

Yes there are tens of thousands (and that is still very far from the actual number) of suffering humans but as long as greed, capitalism, and our unwillingness to control our overpopulation exist there will always be (lets face it greed is basic to human nature otherwise every penny we spend on gaming and non essentials would go to help others). Animal testing on the other hand is a much smaller battle that is possible to win. We must take small steps toward the unreachable goal of ending suffering.
