If we don't test on animals, then on whom will we test?

So basically you're saying you think it's right to test it on animals?

 

Like they said in the video there's human skin or something to test it on so why an animal? They are also different than human so it wouldn't be the same and it hurts the animal D:

 

 

 

Animals taste good though? I was designed to eat them so I don't see what the big deal is. This world would be a different place if there where no predators like me. Chances are, you wouldn't be here

 

To go out and sit in the woods, all winter long for hours "hunting" and not even see a damn thing is what i like. Then there are days when you are scentless, the wind is working in your favor and you actually can see and hear your prey coming. Then waiting for just that perfect moment to take that animal and then shooting. Some times you may miss and waste all that timing and preparation, but when you are successful it is the most amazing feeling in the world. Then the satisfaction of eating the meat and knowing that you can take an animal and survive. I could walk out in the woods with just my rifle and never come back, i would probable be happier too.

 

But you are designed to eat cabbage! Haha

Alex, how are you supposed to live a healthy life style without eating meat? It has nutrients and stuff in it that are good for your body. Yes you can take pill's and what not to provide you with that, but why not just eat the animals? We are going to do it anyway, and it's a way to keep down over population of them, just like human's die off, we just don't reproduce as much as them (at least not EVERYONE)

I think we can survive without the knowledge or consumer product they try to gain through these tests. And at least humans would be able to give consent.

Yes you can take pill's and what not to provide you with that, but why not just eat the animals? If you do that with the animal then I guess it's ok, but not if you just leave it behind and let it suffer or leave it behind dead, then it's just really useless to kill it

Whats wrong with kangaroo meat? Every year, the government allows the culling of kangaroos, because there are just too many of them, and kangaroo meat is still, well, meat.

Australia is like 200 times bigger than Holland and only has 3 million more people, I'm sure there's enough space for alot of them

Well, if these tests were done on humans they would obviously be conducted in a more humane way. The subject would probably be paid, too. Would I want to be a part of the testing? Hell no.. I have no extreme want for money, and I've already said we can do without any benefits these tests provide all together.

You seem to imply that if humans can hunt and kill an animal, that animal wasn't fit for survival and it was meant to die. By that logic, we should have already wiped every animal off the planet .

 

No, it's not wrong for humans to hunt animals for sustenance. Yes, it's wrong to let the animal suffer. I don't feel strongly for or against hunting for sport. At least hunters will usually provide a clean kill.

I believe in a lot of place's it is illegal to leave a suffering animal (correct me if I am wrong)

So what make's you think that OTHER human's will want to do these test's? Even if there is the want of money? What would make them want to be the acceptor of something that isn't tested and can in return harm them or kill them when we can just test on animal's and the human race stays safe? Keep in mind I'm not for or against the testing of animal's I'm just asking questions.

 

And that's not what I am trying to imply. I'm saying like animal A and animal B are eating, animal B get's killed and A run's off and survives then animal A was more fit to survive.

Plenty of people take part in medical tests. It's actaully very routine.

 

Like I said earlier, any testing done on humans would be much more humane than the crap in these videos. Only a psychopath would treat another human being like that. So obviously medical testing on humans is a much safer, careful and thorough process with actual standards.

Most of these tests are absolutely pointless. They put nasty chemicals into rabbit's eyes to see if they will cause blindness, and they do. They knew it would before they even do the test in most cases. The rabbits kill themselves trying to wiggle free of the restraints because their eyes are burning so bad it drives them insane.

 

They force dogs to inhale cigarette smoke to see what happens. Everyone already knows what happens - you get emphysema and cancer and die. Why keep testing?

 

There is little difference between what these scientists are doing and what Nazis did to people.

 

Just torture people/animals in the name of science.
