Stealing name style/tags.

I was just wondering what the F|A clan policy was about pubbers stealing other clan's tags while on your servers. Yesterday my friend Nugget and I were playing using the name style //Name*, and onemanpanzer and another pubber came on and started copying us (badly, I might add). Would it have been reasonable for me to ask an admin to kick them for copying tags? To be honest, our names weren't intended to represent a clan, so it's not as bad as if they were stealing genuine clan tags. I still found it highly irritating, especially since onemanpanzer's attitude annoys me in general.

I'm not sure on the rules but first to add on here so my own idea is If it was a person copying a FA member ..he is asked to remove the tags next is kick or even Ban however its hard to keep track or other clans and how is the OJ person and who is the fake..theres so many people If your known by us ..WELL then you could ask that admin to do something ..im sure someone here well better adress this ..good luck

Ask the player nice to remove your tags. We really can't prove if you made that tag first or he made the tag first.

 

If he is just only one random player bugging you guys, ask any of our co leader to rename his name.

Fair enough, I suppose it would be too much to ask for you to keep track of the memberships of every clan that plays on your servers. Didn't think of that.

name/tag stealing of non-F|A members should be considered a complement. That means the copy-cat like your name/skillz and prob wants to grow up to be you, lolz. Neway, if it bothers you, just kindly ask a high admin to change his/her name for you. But keep in mind, every1 is allowed to name themselves whatever they want to (accept immitating =F|A= members, =ban).
